Brief Description
  1. Definition and validation of technological bases for a new generation of green aero engines.
  2. Study of individual components of combustors and incorporation in a multi-sector or annular combustor representative of large or small engines.

  1. Experimental investigation of lean blow out limits, fuel droplets dispersion in flame and emissions for atmospheric and elevated conditions for four (4) swirl nozzles provided by MTU Aero Engines.
  2. Design, construction and operation of two (2) test facilities simulating combustion in gas turbine for atmospheric and elevated pressure (≈ 20 bar) conditions.
